ISaMed Journals Aspire to Inherit the Research Globally

ISaMed Journals website (6/19/17) is full of danger signs -- a vacuous slogan, empty webpages, a fake address, and a domain name registered by proxy to hide the real parties. The About Us page reports that
ISAMED Journals publishes Open Access Journals in the research of science and medical fields. ISAMED ... does not have any funding source. ISAMED Journals acts as a connecting link between researchers and readers across the scientific community. ISAMED Journals inspires the scientific community by publishing quality research that attracts the readers and researchers all around the world.
ISAMED empowers the readers to read, share and download the content freely via open access. All the ISAMED publications are into Open Access , which will be regularly archived within the respective journal. These can access through web all around the world.
We aspire to improve, innovate, inspire and inherit the research in Science and Medical fields.
The website advertises 20 journals named "Open Access Journal of X." For example, the Open Access Journal of Biostatistics "publishes all aspects of Biostatistics. ... All manuscripts are peer-reviewed by experts ... that improves the quality of the manuscript. All manuscripts undergo peer review process ... ." Clicking on "Editorial Board" returns a blank page except for the promise that "Editorial Board Will Be Updated Soon." The "Article in Press"  does not exist. The "Current Edition" and "Archive" are empty.

  1. Thank you for the post. Perhaps the most operative phrase in the entire email offering is "we intend to establish…". Once these journals get a hook into an academic it becomes very difficult to disengage. Because of the increased emphasis on cyber hacking, I am even uncomfortable Clicking on the unsubscribe link and find it safer just to delete the Email without further ado. Unfortunately, too many naïve academics do not realize the peril of any engagement with sites like this. Your blog is a welcome contribution in outing this and other similar sites, ...John J Palmatier, PhD

  2. They may have taken the register-by-proxy approach for the .com domain, but they forgot the same precaution with "isamedjournals.org" or ""isamedjournals.net".
Both registered by Ratna Prakash Golla, of Hyderabad, to everyone's surprise.

Although he claims to have a Delaware address for "IsAMed llc", when registering the .biz and .us domains:
    http://domainbigdata.com/gmail.com/mj/Dthw9OXcPaZCiYTz4sWCis8Yc7lV5wtLH2niJS9d27A

Why is it that every single member of the Hyderabad scamming industry thinks I'm an ophthalmologist? Are they all buying their lists of email targets from the same service?
